The first day of the 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open is in the books. Monday’s Kadima.Ventures Pro-Am featured PGA TOUR pros teeing it up with community leaders and VIPs in what could be described as perfect weather for golf. Kevin Tway’s group won the event with a group score of 56. Dominic Bozzelli’s group finished in second place just one shot off the leader’s pace, and Alex Cejka came in third with a respectable 58.

Ricky Barnes Earns Final Sponsor Exemption to Round Out Field for 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open

The Thunderbirds – hosts of the Waste Management Phoenix Open – announced today that Ricky Barnes will receive the last of five sponsor exemptions to play in the 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open, set to tee it up January 29-February 4 at TPC Scottsdale. A field of 132 players will vie for the $6.9 million purse, the $1,242,000 first-place check and 500 FedExCup points. Additionally, Web.com Tour graduates Wyndham Clark and Tom Lovelady were awarded exemptions over the weekend.

Matt Kuchar, Bill Haas, Marc Leishman Among Final Commitments as Field is Nearly Set for 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open

Seven-time PGA TOUR winner Matt Kuchar, 2009 PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year Marc Leishman and six-time PGA TOUR winner Bill Haas and are among the final players to commit to play in the 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open, set to tee it up January 29-February 4 at TPC Scottsdale. A field of 132 players will vie for the $6.9 million purse, the $1,242,000 first-place check and 500 FedExCup points.
